Hi there ex-SIYANCOan'z... Salam & good Morning... It really gave me great pleasure when I rec'd a frndz request on Facebook from Anees R Kotta which I accepted at once without hesitation as he had been a very sincere frnd for more than ten years. I came to work at SIYANCO-HQ in Riyadh in Dec'95 as Ofc Supdt in DGM's Ofc; shortly sent to take over the Charge of Pers Mgr from Me Juma Khalid at Jeddah C&M Project then called back to take over as Housing In-Charge. Stayed there until Mr Charlie, a very senior approx 20 year old employee died of heart attack, I was assigned to the Personnel Dept and was given the duties of Travel Coordinator. Before that Managent assigned me to replace Joel Iglesias, Recruiting Spec and another Filipino Mr Jun Tagalinao In-Chaege of Contracts/Marketing Dept. Later both opted to stay back. However, I also worked with GSM Mgr during Medical Leave of Anees. So it was nice to know and work with Eng Osman Shazli GSM Mgr, Mr Khalil Idrees I/C Motor Pool - they both had to quit before I returned or retired in April of 2009. As a matter of fact Sahibzada M Tariq was the Supvr I/C of A/C & Elec Wrkshops as Mr M Iqbql Khan has gone for surgery when I joined SIYANCO-HQ, and M/ s Khalid Sardar, G Rasool Satti, Rafik Khokhar, Naasir Mahmood, Elecs from ex-TLP were working there. Mr Mubarak Ahmed was in the Warehouse who, upon my recommendations, was promoted as Whse Supvr, then he was transferred to JIP Project. He took release to work with another company. Purchasing Suprvr Mr Hadi Sudani later was tfrd to Jeddah where he died. Mr Reddy and Mr Abdullah (Anees' relative) were also working in the Purchase Dept. Actually I worked with SAA Project for about 20 years while SIYANCO-SOCP was also one of their contractors and Mr Brij Mohan Kathuria from Delhi and Mr Jawaid Ali from Kanpur used to come for audit of the Project. Later on Mr Karhuria left and Mr Jawaid Ali is still working as Chief Internal Auditor at SIYANCO-HQ. Well it was nice to remember old good days and all the nice people... !!!
